Steps for Getting Started
1. To create a character, enter the Character Requests board and create a new thread based on the template in the Character Template board.
2. Once your character has been approved (posted by an admin on the Approved Characters board), you can begin RPing!
3.There are several different kinds of actions your character can make.
-he/she can interact with another character (fight, speak, trade, etc...), simply by posting a short introduction thread in the board in which your character is located and waiting for a reply from another willing character. Once you have begun an interaction thread, you MAY NOT perform any other actions outside of the area you are in.
(P.S. you don't have to make your intentions clear when introducing an interaction. You can make it seem as if your character has good intentions and really be looking for a fight!)
-he/she can travel, by PMing an admin giving details of the place traveled to and from and the capabilities and name of the airship used.
-he/she can browse and buy items by looking at shop inventories within your area and PMing an admin with transaction costs and the items involved.
-he/she can train or make a discovery. Both of these involve a short, fairly detailed story of a training session, NPC fight or the discovery of some artifact or building. Once it is written, PM the story to an admin who will subsequently post it on the appropriate board.
4.You will begin in the village, town or city (or whatever) which you specified while creating your character. You can do anything you want on the continent you are on but it takes time to travel between continents. You will have to buy or hire an airship to do so, you can find airships in towns and cities that will specify travel times and such.
5. There is no limit to how many posts you perform in a day but while you travel, which takes real time, your actions are limited. (you may only discover or train) Therefore you cannot make one action on one continent and another on another at one time.
Its all much more simple and free than it sounds. Have Fun!
EXAMPLES FOR MOST OF THESE THINGS CAN BE FOUND ON THE EXAMPLES BOARD IN THE "WELCOME" SECTION.
