If you have read the vocations explanation, you will know that you have alot of freedom as to what your character's power is.
Basically, there are 4 levels of technique/attribute .
If you win a battle or have earned it through training or otherwise, you may be given a new technique or attribute as well as or instead of stats. The technique level you can learn is directly proportional to your PG (power grade)
here is a quick table thingy explaining the levels.
Tech Lvl 1-
PG requirement- 0
Boundaries- Your technique or attribute may only be on a small scale and/or only be in effect on a temporary basis.
e.g. Fire, Flame Creation
Zippo Flame-Tech- The user creates a short burst of flame that catches the opponent off guard and potentially causes severe burning. The burst only lasts for a moment.
Tech Lvl 2
PG requirement- 1000
Boundaries- Your technique or attribute can be on a much larger scale but still must be fairly short term. Either this or the technique must be extremely physically draining.
e.g. Earth, Seismic
Plate Movement-Attribute- Whenever shaken up, surprised or damaged, minor tremors occur below the users' feet. This is incredibly draining but involuntary and so in a fight, the user finds it difficult to last too long due to his sensitive nature.
Tech Lvl 3
PG Requirement- 3000
Boundaries- Your character is now learning to master his vocation and can handle large scale techniques or attributes without much physical strain. Because of the potential size or power of these techniques, the bigger or more destructive/useful the effect, the longer it takes to initiate and therefore the easier it is to anticipate.
e.g. Electricity, Static
Large Static Bolt-Tech- The user uses stored static electricity using his friction inducing boots and creates a large, destructive, blue bolt of lightning that leaves enemies stunned, damaged and leaving a severe burn. The user must take time to charge and store the static energy needed to perform the technique.
Tech Lvl 4
PG requirement- 4000
Boundaries- Your character can now perform complicated and powerful techniques and attributes with almost no effort. Because of the gargantuan effects the moves have, the character receives some small kind of physical or psychological damage from performing it.
e.g. Water, Water manipulation
Osmo-Attribute-The user can suck water from the surrounding air into him at high speed, hardening the outside of his body, giving effective shielding but giving off huge amounts of steam and sweat when released after a long time fighting, causing severe nausea and sometimes blackouts.
